99 Civic Exhaust Manifold

99 Civic Exhaust Manifold
My exhaust manifold has a crack and with 190k its not under the warranty. What are my options?
1) Quick Muffler shop on dufferin said they could fix the crack for a 2 hour labour
2) Get an aftermarket or OE manifold and replace it
3) Get headers, how hard is it with this

Search the classifieds for a used one. They are pretty cheap. You could you an Si one too, but then you'll have to change the cat and the rest of the exhaust.

an oe aftermarket unit is gonna cost you 3-400bucks...from honda ur lookin at 700bucks...stainless exhaust including headers, cat and muffler can be done for 700bucks...its really all what u wanna do with the car

I traded one with 40K on it for a bike roof rack. I probably would have sold it for $80 to $100 - I originally bought it off a reputable TCC member with dealership warranty info to prove its mileage.
My crack was under warranty, but the guys at Altech said they could get me a used one with similar mileage for $200, though for a few bills more, it's tempting to go performance.
