car rental in manual transmission?

IS there somewhere in markham or scarborough that has these rental cars? i don't care if it's sports car, i actually want a regular car with manual transmission. I haven't driven manual in a while and i can't find any car rental place that rents stick shifts. one of the dealers called me to work for them and said i need to drive a manual comfortably so if someone knows where i can rent one pls post it here.

hmm u don't think i would try google first?

i'm usually pretty good at searching stuff on google, but your link doesn't prove anything

i've tried calling all those rental car places, none of them has it,
one place that had it was dollar rent a car which had a mustang but they said some guy didn't know how to drive it so it is being repaired.

i wouldn't post and ask for help unless i've already tried everything i could.

it's probably not a big company that carrys manual transmission rentals so it's so freakin hard to find

I think most rental companies would steer clear of MT's since most people don't know how to drive stick and anyone specifically looking to rent a manual is either looking to learn how to drive it, i.e. a bad person to rent to (no offence, but the guy who broke their mustang was probably learning), or obsessive about changing their own gears. I've also heard from a variety of sources, last one being a wheels article in the Star that multiple drivers with different shifting styles on MT's cause premature wear on some parts.

It might be difficult to find one man, good luck.
