99-00 clutch kit for 98 civic?

99-00 clutch kit for 98 civic?

I can find so many more clutch kits (stage 1 and 2) for a 99-00 civic than a 98 civic. Will any of these kits work in a 98 civic si? Engine is a D16Y8.

As long as its a D16 clutch kit, it should work regardless of year.

yeah, just make sure youre not searching at the american 99-00 civic si, thats our SIR and it wont fit your car, look for a 92-00 civic d series clutch kit.

You're probaly searching an American source, where their Si isn't the same as what it is here in Canada.
If you are searching on a US site, your 1998 should be the equivalent of a Civic Ex.
