Thumbs up 5Zigen install today (now w/ pics)

5Zigen cat back install done today, sounds so great, not loud but nice. The factory exhaust broke clean off about an inch behind the flange connecting the muffler to the rear pipe (res.), 4 years old & exhaust gone Anyways long story short...... (The civic is actually my wife's, I drive an 02 RSX, 5Zigen rims & exhaust) so this broken civic exhaust was a great excuse to install a sweet fireball cat back. The wife thought it'd be loud like my RSX but it's not loud, it's got a real nice tone for a daily driver. Well that's all folks, sorry for going on bout this.

5Zigen

No idea how the factory exhaust crapped out so fast, a little dissapointing, I just replaced the alt. a cpl months ago too!
The 5Zigen sure is nice, smooths the power out nicely & adds a little extra umph too.
BTW- I'm trying to figure out how to post pics on this site. (yes I'm a TCC newbie, it's a little different from CRSX)

It looks like it hangs way too low. They should have tucked it up underneath more.

Sounds nice, not loud, great for daily driver.

This one is much louder, still not near as bad as a buddy club.

It looks much better on the RSX. It just doesn't loo right. On the RSX, it seems to tuck up under the bumper nicely.

Oh, what happened to the RSX? I had a 7th Gen Civic and it was a POS.

doesn't look right at all, piping looks too small and the muffler is tiny

I still have the RSX, it's a fun car.

The exhaust sounds much louder off the K20 (exhaust manifold runs directly off the back of the head) But not too bad.

The pipe dia. is.... Civic: 2" RSX: 2.5"

Just a note guys, 5Zigen is made in Japan for Japanese cars, then shipped here.
