and while the 5th gens are the best... anyone saying otherwise is just jealous of the 5th gens and sad they dont have but want one...

this is just the 92's diff years change weights a bit but you get the idea

what those curb weights dont show is wheel base... which on a 5th gen hatch is much shorter then EX coupe or sedan... and for 2 hp your gaining a solid 150 lbs for a coupe and about 250 lbs for the sedan.... so basically for the same torque and 2 hp is all that added pork worth it??
obviously not.... and when you think about it even if they had the same motor the lighter and shorter car would clearly be the better one for handling and acceleration.....
so in conclusion 5TH GEN RULES!!!

I'll agree with you guys that 5g rawks! but disagree on the hatch / sedan argument.
I autocrossed my 1993 Sedan and my buddy's 1993 Si Hatch on Sunday and I gotta tell ya that I like the way the sedan rotates way better, but I do want his motor!

6th gen coupes all the way!!! The headlights serve a purpose, its called being able to see at night and if you dont like it the buy eyebrows to make them look like 5th gens...
ok
sedans= family/granny car
hatches= rice rockets
5th gen = out of date and usually high milage and rusty... ecu are the only advantage
7th gen= boxy with too much family ergonomics instead of sporty
crx= juvinile dinky car
Anyone else I havent offended yet? lol.. Bring on the Flamin!! hahaha... I cant wait for the tightass defence replies
Im just kiddin around relax...

There seems to be a pretty rampant misconception regarding Civics... pleezebelive that the 6th gen 4 door USDM DX, CDM LX is by far the greatest automobile (if you can even call it that... more like ******* rocket!) that was ever manufactured, bar none. It has the highest top speed of any grossly underpowered FWD car in it's class, has the best fuel economy in it's EPA class, has the most non-standard features you can pay thousands for... and has those sexy 14 inch steelies w/ covers. Who wouldn't want one of these. Namely, 1998 was the best year... around June/July... and VSM is the best color. So hopefully this puts an end to this horrific misconception.
