30th Anniversary

I was looking at the 30th anniversary coupe and just a regular lx coupe and I cant figure out what the difference is, only that one has "30th anniversary" on the back instead of any letters, thats kinda annoying. Did they even make a 30th anniversary Si coupe? I know its got the sunroof but shouldnt it have a vtec?

I think there is a 30th version that is an Si with the body kit and nicer stereo.

Are you still looking for a car? There are tons of nice Civics out there.

Ok it is in fact a 30th anniversary Civic Si.....it has the VTEC, SPOILER and SUNROOF. It doesnt have the kit and I believe it has the same stereo as an LX of that year. But it doesnt say Si on the back just 30th anniversary. What made this car different than other Sis? I think I read somewhere that 30th anniversarys could be a type-R??

Yeah I am still looking for a civic, I seen a 2003 civic LX coupe 70,000km with no spoiler for like 14900, and the dealer called this morning and said I can go in there at 13900 or 13800 or 13700 ...I was hoping he would keep going lower. lol....but I dont know. I like the Si too, but it was listed at 16900, is 3000 (assuming I can get Lx at 14000) worth a sunroof spoiler and vtec?

Also the dealer doesnt have the service records because its a mazda dealer and the car was traded in but got serviced somewhere else. Is this important, i mean the car looks clean and engine looks great.

Insurance for a 2003 LX is 1900 a year, thats not bad. The Si would probably be 2100. So I am leaning toward LX, but I will miss the sunroof.

only thing different from a 30th edition and a regular si is that the 30th has some options come standard instead of having to pay extra for them, most cars are like that for example when they sell a special edition trim level of a car. and no its not a type r.. what the hell is a SOHC VTEC R, can u give me the link to where u read this.

edit: honda celebrated their 30th anniversary by releasing the EP3 type-r in europe and japan not here
heres the link
