No wonder they stopped production of the civic for Japan market.

Not like they were almighty to begin with... But I agree.

Only 3 extra hp for the Si, pretty disappointing. 200hp and 170tq is way behind something like the Mazdaspeed3 (which although it costs more, it is always compared against in the major magazines), and the GTI (200hp/210tq).

Rather than getting more aggressive and slotting into the heart of those WRX vs Mazdaspeed3 vs GTI vs Lancer Ralliart comparos, it has waved the white flag and will be happy sitting on its laurels and offering more performance than a Scion Tc or a Sentra SER (yawn).

The pics I saw of the concept vehicles looked so much better, I hope the coupe's looks fair a little better.
