Oh, don't get me wrong, I really do like late 80s and 90s Hondas/Acuras....but lets get real...

many people who are looking at an Astra are looking at a new car...for whatever reason (whether they should or not, thats not the issue), you can't compare a 15 year old car to a new car (well you can, but its fairly irrelevant)....and for a new car, its a pretty good offering (maybe not the best, but quite good)...

Keep in mind, I drive an EK....

The vauxhall (saturn) astra is an excellent car. Little pricey tho.

A little pricey, for what? What other decent car can you buy new for under 25g's? Unless you want something relatively base, they isn't too many sporty car's out there for under 25.

I think it's actually a very nice looking car. My neighbour, who is a Saturn salesmen is always bringing them home. I'm not a huge fan of the interior, but it's a very nice car indeed.

I thought that was just the previous gen...I think the new one reverts to a GM engine ....* I think*, not 100%

Nice car...but I would rather buy a new SI for that price.
If you don't want to spend that much and get a good reliable car with some power and all the power options....just buy a SIR or EP3 for lesss then half the price and still have a Honda.
