can't justify the price on civics anymore. i'd rather grab an is300 with 30-40k on it for the same price if not less.

when you guys talk about 30Gs earlier, its after tax, admin, etc, right?

because isn't the Si listed just about 26G?

yea thats right, thats after fright($1200), taxes and all the other stupid dealer **** they charge you for.

I have a buddy who has a 2002 lexus is300, and i dont like it, its not a nice ride, its got no *****, and it seems like a cheap car that lexus made just so they could have something entry level.

I guess that's why Honda introduced the new Fit. It used to be that Civics were entry level, now they are 30Gs.

Id go for the cobalt ss if i had the dough.

fast, cheapish, gm supoercharger, decent quality (dont quote me on this one) and stylish body and doesnt look like a minivan in the front.

the SS supercharger, has gotten horrible revues, everything from the interior starts falling apart to the loud and noisy ride. I have driven one, while it is fast it sucks in the corners and is really heavy, 0-60 isnt that impressive for a supercharger. The wing on the back makes it really hard to see anything in the rear view mirror. Lots of body roll in corners, lots of understeer, and my biggest problem is the 2.0 ecotec motor that they use, the same motor in the sunfires and in the cavaliers, (JUNK) so i cant imagine how much abuse they would take from that supercharger......Just my opinion tho.

still doesn't beat a 1988 mazda 323 GTX AWD Turbo/Intercooled... detuned and stock 130hp, with $1000 in mods, you'll be pushing 180hp with 15psi of boost to all 4 wheels with a locking differential... and what, all 700kg of body? SICK

AND btw... you guys can get your cobalt ss pieces of crap or whatever you want, but when we roll up to the light and you have your girl next to you in that american pile and i burn out all 4 tires and take off like a bullet... hahaha, she'll wish she was riding with me!

it may look like ****, but when i get one, i'll be at the meet... you guys can check it out!

OH YEAH...and one of these with low kms are like $5000 in excellent condiiton... and it is based on the miata engine, so expect a good 270,000 out of the engine as long as you don't go too much over 15 psi of boost)...

I am keeping my civic still, cause its sick, but this is going to be mississauga's new hidden sleeper... you'll see it, listen for my HKS BOV as i drive by... hahaha

the miata 1.6 is garbage. It suffrers from crankwalk. I do agree that 323 GTX b6ts, do in fact KICK ***. One of my fave cars. Lockable diff, awd, turbo, mazda, neat look, sleeper, few made, knowone has a clue.
