Why? I'm going on my third one and they have all been basically problem free. None of the major TSB's has applied to my car's. There have been problems with the front struts bump stops, the motor mounts and now the rear wheel bearing.

I have yet to recieve anything from Honda Canada about a recall. apparently it only effects 5% of the Civics sold.

SiR_YO 16-Sep-2007 12:41 AM

lol, it's all my fault eh.. cuz I built half these with my bare hands...

that being said, I still sold two today .. and one of em the customer strait out asked me about this re-call

Red Fury Civic 16-Sep-2007 09:17 AM

wow thats not to good sucks large

Xscorpio 18-Sep-2007 03:01 PM

that def sucks

RDub 19-Sep-2007 07:30 AM

meh, recalls are pretty common now.. chrysler just recalled 300,000 SUV's as well for some braking problem while driving uphill..

pinkcivicchick 23-Sep-2007 09:57 AM

My parents just bought one, and they haven't got recalled yet. The dealership said that they will notify them if their civic has been affected..

was it a pre-owned 8th gen? or brand new? chances are, if it is brand new then the recall won't apply to this vehicle. It only applies to 06 models and early 07 production models

Do you know how early the 07 production models are? Would March 07 qualify as early or not? Thanks!

bbarbulo 26-Sep-2007 05:47 PM

so what, at least Honda fixes their problems. most other manufacturers just claim they're 'isolated' incidents, even though you see in the forums just how many ppl have the same problems. Honda steps up and says... YES, we stand behind our cars!!

sweetEK 27-Sep-2007 09:29 PM

damn haha gota love me ekay :D

DumbasSi 28-Sep-2007 02:14 PM

My 06 is ok and my 07 doesn't fall into the recall range. I am getting one of the motor mounts replaced along with a door panel and centre console.

BOND007 28-Sep-2007 02:52 PM

I think we should still just blame ed

I'll have to check when I get back to work on Monday.. if Honda hasn't contacted you yet, then there's a good chance you're safe... PM your VIN # and I'll see if it lies with that range that's affected

5 %? whered u hear that from? its more like 1% at the most. Its very rare for them and for the most part, the wheel bearing only lasted about 5000km.

kIeRaN 30-Sep-2007 09:34 PM

hey ed, howd the windows turn out?
