But 200hp won't happen. That would take sales away from the Accord.
But who knows, stranger things have been known to happen.

if the civic were to have a 200hp motor it wont rob accord sales at all period.
we are talking about two different classes and two different styling.
but forshure 200 hp civic wont come in production UNLESS they replace the baby member of honda's lineup (civic) with another new car like a FIT or sumthing. cuz they still need entry class vehicles and civic is too old to be the base of bases.

I guess I'm one of the first ones on this forum to actually own one. I opted for the magnesium metallic with A/C. I've had the car for a few weeks and I can tell you that it handles really really well. Too bad for the nasty weather we're having. I am dying to open that moonroof and cruise around.

I wanted a Vtec Sedan with 15" alloys, moonroof and rear discs, if the Si sedan has these options I just saved myself a few thousand bucks. While I still think the EL looks better and is also a great car, the Civic refresh is very well done and I'm gonna seriously consider it.

and by the way 130hp, there is no way I'll ever sell my EG!!! I'd love to get rid of my POS 2001 Protegé GT though! I wish someone would just write it off!
and schlammed... patience my friend, that's all I have to say, Civic/EL major model change is 2006 and the k20 is rumored to be the motor of choice.

Well the 4 Door SI is pretty nice... My dad just bought one and were getting it this Saturday, Thus why I'm a new member because he is giving me his 99 Civic! I agree though I wish honda would put some more muscle into these civics..... by the looks of it were one of the slowest compacts on the road, and I used to think the Corolla was ****, but now it's looking ok
