That's a big 10-4 Boys and Girls, 2004 Civic Si Sedan is a go!

This is great, we haven't had a Vtec Civic Sedan in Canada for over 10 years (5g EX-V). We only got the EL which is a great car but this is awesome news.

I was gonna order me a 2004 EL this fall but now I might not have too. I wanted a Vtec Sedan with 15" alloys, moonroof and rear discs, if the Si sedan has these options I just saved myself a few thousand bucks. While I still think the EL looks better and is also a great car, the Civic refresh is very well done and I'm gonna seriously consider it.

Plus the Si Sedan is cheaper than the Si Coupe for '04, by quite a bit.

I saw a commercial on Space last night for one. It didn't really look anything special, and there is no mention of it on Honda's website.

Having the Best of both?? 4drs + 160 horses?
No, it won't happen to Honda...at least not any more.

I still remember how happy I was when they came out with the EX-V back in 93....I started saving my $$$...then they stopped that trim level next year!

They when I bought my 98 Accord EX, it no longer has the Folding Mirrors. No TCS until 2001 EX model. I have a feeling that they only put the good stuff on the Acura product line!

$17,260 US for the EX model according to the US website. The Canadian SI sedan will be the same car.

I know what my price is (dealer cost) but not retail, and I can't tell you cost. I would go by the price of a 2003 Si coupe.

Holy crow! 160hp + 4 doors and it comes in the form of a Civic?!?!?! That's great to hear, but no need to sign me up... I'm not keen on the sedan styling at all! lol

But I'm sure that there are tons of you out there that'll be breaking down the doors down at the local Honda dealership to get one!

No...not 160...according to US Honda official data, it only has 127 horses! not 160...

What he said.

The Si sedan is just a Civic sedan with the D17A2 SOHC motor that is already available in the Si coupe and Acura 1.7EL. Not sure if its a good idea for them to offer this car though since they will now be competing with themselves (Honda vs. Acura) in that it will likely take sales away from the Acura 1.7EL.

In Asia they do have something equivalent to a 4door SiR with the new K20A motor

so there is actually a 160hp sedan somewhere in the world, just not here (again)

what the hell is so exciting about a 4 door si? if it was a 4 door vti then it would have some excitment because then it would at least have 160 horses. but a 4 door si if it still a 127hp engine is hardly exciting at all. it is an improvment but seriously, who cares?
