Hey Guys.
I need your opinion on something. I've found a guy who is selling a black 1996 civic hatch (5 speed) for $300.00. The body needs some tlc...rust on the quarters and needs a new bumper (cracked). And the car doesnt start...which i dont care because im doing my apprenticeship to become a mechanic. So do you guys think its worth the $300.00 to pick it up....and maybe sell it after i get it running? Or just drive it myself.

300 bucks.. worth it forsure!.. you could even part it out and make 2 or 3 times that.

Yeah for sure... an EG shell goes for 300, for an EK it's a no brainer. You don't really see them much..

I went to see the car today. For the body.....its got rusted quarters...some rust on the doors and a little on the roof. It needs a hood,bumper,fenders and a rear bumper.
The windshield is cracked. And for some reason the driver and passenger side floor (front) is wet...and there is water leaking from down on the ground.
What do you guys think??

^ Oh man, what a mess this car. I wouldn't get it for $300.00. Even if you were to part it out, what can you part out, seats, headlights? Anyway, up to you.

After that description, I wouldn't bother. Gonna cost a lot to fix up.

Ya i think i agree with you guys. Theres **** all you can part out because everything is ruined.
