16km per liter!

First time I have done this, I couldn't believe it! 640km per tank and if I keep a steady pace, the light wouldn't go on. But my gf was scared so she asked me to put in gas lol.

Been driving real slow lately, no speeding, no heavy foot.

5.78 liters/100 kms or around 40 miles per gallon ... not bad at all.

crx's rev high on the highway? Are you nuts? My wife's car (89 CRX Si) at 120 is at around 3000 rpm. Which to me is perfect. My car at 120 is at 4500 rpm. I have a 93 coupe, with a 99 B16 LSD trans

I use Shell 87, the lowest type of fuel. At 100km, it revs at 2200, more or less.

Nova, no way it revs at 2200 at 100 kms... unless you put a V8 in there More like 3000 at 100 kms/hr. You have the same engine/tranny as me, so I'm sure that's a typo.

B, I sware to god, at 100, my car is not at 3000 RPM. With 3000 RPM on 5th gear, I can go around 120 and close to 3500 it gets me to about 140.

I will take a spin during lunch time and confirm it.

How do you mean by per tank? with cruise, I can reach 6 litre/100 km on highway, the fuel capacity on my car is 45 L, so per tank mileage should be 750km?

Steady highway travel always saves gas I believe. Last time I heard my friend saying "I can get 600 with my Caviler..." and I was like **** you kidding me?

Right back at cha girl LOL. The most I could do is probably 670 but we will see how I do with this tank.
