07 Civic Coupe markup

Hi everyone

I'm new to TCC. I'm shopping around for a 07 Civic coupe Ex. I was wondering if anyone knows how much the dealer makes on the markup. That way I can get a better idea of my asking price when it comes time to bargain.

Thanks for the help

With Honda offering a $1000 cash-back rebate and low 1.9% purchase and 3.9% lease rates on new Civics, you will probably not have much to bargain with.

Don't get a new civic they have absolutely no soul and are so bland. Get a car with torque it will make you so happy. I have owned Honda's all my life and after getting an Mx6 GT turbo I realize how good torque is too have and I will never own a Honda again unless they can produce a car with torque.

Torque = Happiness

No Torque = Emptiness

139 lb-ft. of torque @ 6100 rpm

That can just barley remove a lid from a jam jar. It is the reason why Hondas don't feel good when you give them gas.

I wish they could get the civic up to 200lb-ft+ from the factory. It would be a far far better car.

I bought the 06 Civic EX and used one of those car membership things to find the best price. After all the haggling and with the $1000 rebate they had I got the price down to roughly $25k on the road.

That is $520/mth at 4.9% (nov06) and i got them to throw in free tints.

I love the new EX, its awesome! But if you got the extra cash lying around, go get the Si. You wont get the "should've bought an Si" feeling later :cry:

I'll keep my Si thanks and comparing it to a 17 year old MX6 is an insult.

No soul? Bland? Sure.

I don't need torque. I have an 8000rpm redline, 6 speed and LSD to fill the so-called "emptiness".

Please let me know when they are. I might be still interested in them, if I don't find any wheels until then. Thanks!
