Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My personal note of gratitude to everyone who organized yesterday's event, anyone who helped out, and everyone who showed up.

So many had a hand in making the day such a great one... you know who you are... EXCELLENT JOB!

Just the arrival of the east convoy at Sheridan mall was enough to thrill me.

And then being part of a seemingly endless line of Civics (+1 Matrix)on our cruise was even more awesome.

But... if it hadn't have been for the people riding in those Civics, it just wouldn't have been the same.

It was great to see everyone! (and meet a few for the 1st time)

Truly a day to remember (hopefully not for how cold it was)

Yes, it was cold, but we made the best of it!

Don't forget the really nice Dark Silver MINI Copper S.

Who's Civic hatch was I following? You really should get someone to look at that misfiring and black smoke coming out of your exaust.

All joking aside I'm glad I followed you guys the route you went had a few twists in it that I've never been on. I was coming back from a MINI meet and I just had to follow. If any of you haven't done Snake Road in Burlington/Waterdown yet you don't know what you're missing.

If you see that MINI around be sure to wave when I pass you.

Cheers,

I think you were joking, but that Civic quite possibly could've been mine.

BTW, I saw a Mini... blue, I believe... was that yours?

nevermind... I just noticed you mentioned the colour...
I should learn to read better!

I don't know how many Civics I was with when I stumbled onto you guys. I was about three or four cars behind a white Matrix with his hatch open. Came across everyone near the Niagra escarpment, Kelso park, milton area. In front of me, the Civic with the misfiring problem (not joking, black puffs of smoke and everything), was a white (if memory serves) Civic hatch, 6th gen I think, with an aftermarket exaust and a large metal wing on the back. The two of us ended up scaring some horse. ooops.

Later.

OcTaNeTeDdY car needs to have someone look at it. The black smoke when it mis-fires is pretty nasty. Thankfully a 4cyl doesn't make that much noise when it back fires.

I was following for quite a while then when you all pulled over for a second time I figured you didn't want me ruining your fun. So I moved on. I already pulled over and waited once and when I saw the space between OcTaNeTeDdY's car and the next Civic jumped back into the line. I was coming back from a run over on Snake Road with 3 other MINIs. We'd been out since 10am and I was on my way back to Milton to drop off my copilot.

So how many people were bitching on the FRS about the MINI.

Don't mean to troll in your message boards, just wanted to know who you guys were.

I never even saw your Mini... however, I did see a blue one going in the opposite direction.

BTW... Octane Teddy's car isn't white, it's blue, and it's a 5th gen.

I'm not sure if Alan (PULOVR) has a wing on his car or not, but his is white.

Legacy73's is also white.

I don't recall any white 6th gen hatches being there.

Actually I wasn't going the oposite direction. I had pulled into a driveway on the left side of the road to wait for you guys. I really hope we didn't scare that horse too bad. The rider looked pissed! :fustrated

Now that I think of it, it was a 5th gen. 5th gen has the split hatch right? With the fold down bottom and fold up glass?

It also had a really big metal/aluminium wing.

Oh. And it was black smoke. Nasty, nasty black smoke.

Definately very cool seeing the Mini-Cooper dude on the board.

NICE!

I hope the car blowing the black smoke wasn't me! But I don't have a wing.

Could it be Slvr-Bullet?

Dude, it was deffinately cool riding in a huge pack, I can only imagine what the east enders looked like pulling in on the west side... coool.

Maybe next time we can spy on the mini board and crash one of their cusies with a tonne of civics!!
