****ers put oil in my neighbours car!
my next door neighbour has a nice 2000 yukon denali and he drove it to work and back today and said the truck was smoking really, really badly.......anyways we noticed around his gas cap area a streak of oil and then found two small things of oil thrown at the side of his house along with a tsp container..........my question is its most likely some punks put oil in his gas tank and the tsp.....i know this cant be good but my question is what should he do? just drive the truck and run the tank empty and put up with the smoke? how much harm will this do to his motor? anyway this happend in the bolton area as i know there are a few members from there, keep an eye out..stupid punks

i would personally get a complete system flush.
the best way is to remove the gas tank completely and have it drained out as the oil will most likely sit on the bottom of the tank.
as for the gas thats in the line i dont think oil could have went in there but if it did use a small container of gas and start the car and have the container feed the gas until the container runs out after that re-install the gas tank and then use fuel injector cleaner just to make sure the nozzles wont be clogged and run some seafoam too if you want.

tell him to fill it up and drive it. those things have huge tanks im sure he can dilute it enough that it wont matter. those big crap buckets burn oil anyway. 80 litres to 2 liters of oil thats 40:1 no problem in my oppinion.

oil mixes with gas, you dont need to do a thing. just drive. i dont think anyone knows what a 2 stroke is. they use oil in the gas to lubricate the engine because they dont have oil in the crank case. thats a very basic explaination of 2 strokes very very very basic, if you want more detail go look it up.

Luckily its only oil, Imagine if it was paint or glue, Dont worry just put 1/3 Seafoam into the tank, fill it up and drive the Denali, Hopefully it didnt clog up the fuel injectors, if it made it that far. The fuel filter must have caught some of the oil, might wanna change that too, definitely change it.

ya, i'd just fill it and run it, I don't think it would be a huge deal...
well, actually what I would do is buy a car that doesn't say "I have more money than I have brains"....
but ya, as long as its not a huge amount of oil, it shouldn't be a big problem

"I have more money than I have brains" stupidest comment i ever heard......are you jealous because my neighbour drives a nice truck and you drive a 500 car?......usually people that have money, have brains......you dont get good jobs being an idiot......so if driving a nice truck makes him have no brains what does that make you? anyways he took the truck to gm and they dropped the tank and did a flush

I'd be more concerned about the TSP
TSP is Trisodium Phosphate
Trisodium phosphate is used by painters as a heavy duty degreaser and all purpose cleaner. TSP is formulated for removing Grease, soot, and lead paint dust cleanup. A washing of surfaces prior to painting helps insure a good clean "bite" for the finish coats of paint.
