Niagara Falls Run
Ladies, Gentlemen, Boys and Girls of All Ages....
The administrative staff and I have been discussing the possibility of a Niagara Falls cruise run for the past little while. Looks like it has finally come to fuitition.
On Sunday, June 30th, 2002 the TCC will be hosting our first annual Niagara Falls Run and BBQ.
What does this mean? This means that we are having a cruise down to Niagara Falls and around the local area and then will be stopping and having a BBQ. TCC will be possibly having a prize/raffle type give away as well.
What Do I Need To Bring? Bring 10$ (includes pop and food) as well as yourself and your guy or girl. NOTE: All proceeds of this meet go to help the Toronto Civics Club server stay alive folks so this is a decent cause. Plus there are prizes onboard as well.
There are a few rules to be adhered to.
Rule 1: Civics ONLY folks. Any non civic driver may attend but MUST ride along in a Civic. Sorry to the non Civic drivers but this was agreed upon by the entire admin staff.
Rule 2: Absolutely NO horseplay in the vehicles during the cruise part until myself or one of the other admin staff give the all clear. Down in N/F (for those that don't know) chi-low (police) are all over the place and move like lightning. Trust me.. Got myself a ticket at the bottom of the Hill (the route we are taking).
Rule 3: Absolutely NO drug or alchol on the cruise and at the park. If you are found to posses either you will be severely beaten by Cantona and myself. NO exceptions to this rule. We are representing the club, not your high school prom.
CRUISE SECTION: The Cruise section of the day will begin around 10:00AM at (location to be decided upon) and will commence down to Niagara Falls in a convoy order. The reason we will do this is because there will be FRS units placed within cars at equal spaces to ensure that no one gets caught in lights or knows where they are going if you happen to get stuck at a light down in N/F
BBQ SECTION: The BBQ section will take place down in the Niagara Region and will involve touch football, food, drink, a nice park, hopefully some sunshine etc. etc. If you have some interesting stuff you wanna bring to the BBQ than by all means please feel free.
NOTES: The route will stay a secret until the actual day of the event because we don't want to encourage any of the local law enforcement into thinking this is a "Woodbine and 16th".

I was actually gonna be down there from Friday - Sunday that weekend. Wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys down there. I'll find out where you guys are doing this and check you down there.

Hey Guys! Im not a member yet...but I bought a Civic last week...Im just having trouble getting insurance...let me tell you... INSURANCE IS A BITCH! Anyways, count me in if you dont mind...Itll be a good chance for me to meet you guys (even though I can do that on a Wednesday) Anyways...hopefully this insurance goes through and Im driving by Tuesday or Wednesday :-)
