Yokohama Envigor Vibrations - Brand New Tires
I just bought a set of Yokohama Envigor and were intalled this past Saturday. I was looking for softer and quiet tires. This brand and model does deliver it's promise. I immidiately felt the difference. But when I dirve in the highway at 100km and up. These tires also comes with vibration. The vibration is on the steering wheel, on the dash by passenger side, some on the passenger door and on front passenger seat.
Bought these tires from GTA Tires at Jane&Keele Toronto. First purchase from this store. I have called them and notified them of my problem. But I have not heard from them yet. Are my tires defective??? |
Just go there and get them to check the balance of the tires. They may have balanced one wrong or a weight fell off. Don't go in mad just politely tell them what's up and ask if they can check their work.

I'm usually easy going. But dollars and cents are hard to come by these days.
I have left them 2 messages. I can't get out of work for long. So it will have to be next weekend. Hopefully they don't give me the run around. |

After you find out if your tires have been balanced properly and you still have the vibration, it could be that one of your wheel rims could be bent or not uniformly round.
It could also be that your brake rotors are warped. Does the vibration get worse when you apply the brakes at highway speed? |

Yeah, take your car back to the place and take one of them for a spin and show them what it is doing.
They either didn't properly balance them in the first place or a wheel weight or two have fallen off. Can you tell if the vibration is coming from one particular tire? |
