type r with 4 bolt.will it work?

ok, so i have a jdm type r swapped into an ek. i do not have type r 5 bolt. would i have any problems with this? few 2 people said that i will bcuz the shafts wont fit properly or something like that. any1 kno if id have any problems or not?

you have the engine tranny swapped in already? I'm assuming the axles are not in yet? do they fit in both the tranny and the hubs? there's your answer.

i kno they will fit and all but iv been told that i will have problems with them. i was told they can snap as well

I've been running my b18c type r in my 99 ek coupe since november, no problems with snapped shafts or anything? I don't know where you're getting your info but there's tons of people who have done type r swaps into eks and egs. No major problems as long as you do the swap right.

no as long as you have poper shafts n ur set and obvously mounts done proper ...i got drive shafts for sale stage 1 ...less than 8000 kms on them for $130

I had a 96' HB, with ha 97' B18C ITR. I used The Drive Shaft Shop CV Shafts once the boots got too cracked.
You will have no problem with this swap.
