Tire Size Question

Hey I'm planning to get my suspension done and upgrade my wheels at the same time.

i was just wondering if i was going for like a 15" or 16" rim would 215 tread width be too wide and cause rubbing on my 97 civic si with a 1.5-1.75" drop? I understand how the tire sizing works and having to make sure the diameter of rim + tire is as close to stock as possible, i just want to know if i can run 215's without rubbing.

Thanks.

It depends on the wheel offset as well. But you should be able to squeeze 215's in the front.

But the question is why? Do you not have enough traction with 205? What tire are you using?

17s are tooooooo big. but yeah 215s on a probably a 7" width right? with the minor drop you have i would be very surprised if it rubs.
