tire help brands and sizing
k so i finally got my civic on the road
it came with 15" acura gsr wheels i believe. not sure on the width i think 6"
what would you guys suggest for a good high performance tire with some side wall.

whats your budget?
you'd want to go with 205/50/15. good width which equals to great traction on the road in rain or dry. sidewalls is thick enough for city streets.
so many brands out there. how much you want to spend is all thats gonna limit you.
some of our sponsors are tire experts, so be sure to give them a call! (ie. tires23)

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs in 205/50/15 is a great tire. Can be had for around $500 if you bring them over from the states yourself. If you buy in Canada you'll be looking at around $650.
There are cheaper options but like said above, it depends on your budget.

well i have learned that there is no reason in wasting money on cheap tires anymore, i can burn through a set of cheap rubber in half a year so im looking at spending a decent buck.
think im going to go for a 195 50 r15, either between the dunlop dz101 or the kumho ecsta ast
i know what you are all gonna say about kumhos but they have been good tires for me in the past
