Is this tire fixable?

last night ran over some damn METAL **** on the road.... was so f-en pissed.. the air was coming out very slowly.

took about 1 hr to become flat.. so the puncture cannot be that bad.. wondering if its possible to fix with a tire repair kit?

Sorry to say the tire is garbage. You can probably put some of that tire inflate goop in there but seeing as its a lo pro tire you probably like to drive. Have you ever blown a tire at a high rate of speed. I was lucky enough to have had some skid school training and barely kept it on 3 wheels. It could cost you your life. Is that worth the $175 tire?

Luckily I was only going very slow turning into a side street.. if I hit that metal at highspeeds could have been alot worse.

Really dissapointed that I have to spend more money when I just got them 2 months ago.

THanks for the help.

this is also why it's good to get tires from a place that offers road hazard warranty. Some places might not accept this but most would.

Anytime there's damage to the sidewall, the tires are pretty much finished (should be at least!!)

In a way, you're lucky you got these 2 months ago, and not, say.. 1.5 yrs ago. Cause now, tread wear will still be fairly even. If ur tires had a lot more wear, ud have to buy 2 new ones (you should at least).
