Sumitomo tires - Made in Japan!
Bought some all season tires for my 1991 civic Si - Sumitomo HTR A/S P01.
They are Made in Japan (says on the sidewall)
Bought a set of 185/60 14 from Tires23.com for $420 tax in and installed.
IT TOOK ME 1 WEEK TO SOURCE A MADE IN JAPAN TIRE IN 185/60 14 size which is not overpriced ! Yoky and Bridgestone were close to $500
All tire sales reps said it is a rare size tire now. Most are all Chinese brand tires! Even Michelin now makes alot of tires in China !
I dragged out my 1991 civic si today after it has been in storage for 2 years (started fine with no issues).
I dont drive it since it is in mint original shape with low km (118,000 km)
I took off the 15" CSA Polaris rims with Nokian All weather tires I had on there. Those are going on my 88 civic lx for winter.
