strange cluck cluck cluck cluck noise

strange cluck cluck cluck cluck noise

hi

I recently noticed that when i turn, happens when turnng left or right , i hear a strange almost ticking sound... like a tapping. cluck cluck cluck clukc.... noise ... could these be signs of worn ball joints? what else could it be.. i think its coming from the rear

up untill you said the rear it sounds like your cv shafts. check to see if the boots are dry then they should be ok but if the grease is comming out then you need to change them.

As for the rear have you had any work done lately? brakes maybe?

only thing done was changing the muffler

could be some loose lug nuts. i had a similar noise happen that turned out to be two loose lug nuts

is the car lowered? and is the exhaust hitting the lower control arm, or maybe the rebar in the rear bumper. try shaking the muffler and rocking the car side to side to see if it's hitting somewhere. I cahnged my crappy old pacesetter axle back out for a Skunk2 setup to make clearance for adding a rear sway bar in my h/b and thought that it was being hit by the control arm do to being .25" bigger, but it was acutally the muffler hanger went trough the rubber hanger as it was supposed to but, was too long and hitting the rebar in the rear bumper under certain conditions, like when I'd shift into second it's clunk or sometimes it's vibrate really wierd
