well at low speeds like 30-40 i cant hear it, when i get up to 60+ it comes up...its not continiuos squeeking...its like sound-pause-sound...and faster i go the shorter the pause...but at 130+ i would think that it be one continiuos sound but it never is...thats why im wondering if its just the shoe in the drumbrake or smthing else..oh and also its a 93 civic

well im going to go right ahead and bump my old thread back instead of making a new one. anyways so i finally got around to pulling my drum brakes off. i checked the shoes and there is still a lot of beef left. there was some rust around the cover plate so i sanded/scrapped a lot of it off and while car was up i turned the wheel and it did not make any sounds. so i went of driving again and hey the squeeking is still there. So basicly the faster i go the more repetative the squeeking gets and it goes away if i pull my ebrake up or depress the brake pedal. the wierd thing is, if i just bearly touch the brake pedal the sound will go away. anybody has any ideas? the shoes move fine, i sprayed of that spray this is for squeeky brakes and now everything is nice and clean but problem is still not solved. also i do not want to bring my car to a shop since im really low in $$ so im trying to figure out the problem myself. any help guys?

I'm thinking wheel bearings. However it would be a constant noise at all speeds and goes away with a brake application.

eyah im not sure since i took the drum apart cleaned it...and whatnot and when i was putting the drum back on i turned the whole thing and nothing was touching...but i guess when the car is on its full weight it kicks in then. and the faster i go the more repetative the squeeking gets. also its pritty damn loud, so i have to drive around blasting my music with subs to overpower the squeeking
