Rookie need some Help! Thx

Waz up all,

I looking to upgrade my wheels for my 2001 Civic. My car is black with some old stoch rims. Here some info:

Stock Wheels:
Steelie rims
Bolt pattern = 4x114.3
Offset = +45mm, Tire size = 185/70/14
Overall Diameter = 24.19 inch
Section Width = 7.28 inch

New Wheels
Black alloy with silver trim
Bolt pattern = Dual 4x100 and 4x114.3
Offset = +42MM, Tire Size = 205/50/16
Overall Diameter = 24.07 inch
Section Width = 8.07 inch

From the above seems fine to me but I'm totally sure. His there any thing else I should consider before purchasing these new wheels?

Also what is Section Width?

Thanks for the help.

Section width is the width of the tires.

Seems all good. Diameter is close therefore speedo won't be off by a lot. Otherwise offset is close enough.

The other things to consider is if the tires will clear the calipers... yes they will clear in your case. Honda guys don't really need to worry about that, unless you've a set of Brembo Calipers ()
