need help asap

ok so i got my hands on some new rims for my ef hatch that are 15/7 wrapped in 205/50/15 and my car is lowerd on eibach pro springs. now my problem is that my tires rub on the fender lip. is there anything short of buying new suspension or rims and tires i can do to make these rims fit properly without rubbing? im not sure on the offset and i dont really know how to find out either...any help would be great!

Same problem with my car. Had to roll mah fenderz yo.

There are several ways to do it. You can use a pipe/baseball bat (what I did, worked good), or rent the tool. Make sure you use a heat gun so the paint doesn't crack/chip.

Or you can pay a shop to do it for you at around $50 a fender.

Can google it for more details.

Good luck.

try a chamber kit...it might straighten your wheels so that its not touching the fender..but most ppl roll their fender in

Camber kits are more for proper alignment (making sure the camber stays closer to zero when you lower the car), they don't really help tire rubbing.

In most cases when you lower a car, there is excessive negative camber and with a camber kit it adjusts the camber closer to zero which can cause more tire rubbing in some situations as it moves the top of the tire out-ward and thus, closer to the fender-egde.

Less wheel rim off-set can help, but if the rim is directly against the rotor/hub (no spacer to remove), then there isn't much you can do other than roll the fenders or run a narrower tire size or get different rims with less off-set.

Could always get adjustable collars for the springs and raise the car a slight bit.
Also wasn't there a user who used some sort of rubber inserts to raise the car?

^yeah, you could use the inserts, but not the greatest solution. Plus they compromise the function of the spring and alter the spring rate.
