probably converted to integra rears or something. correct? I dont think you would have to change the master cylinder. Make sure your lines are properly bled and you have used good brake fluid. I wouls suggest DOT4 min.

The brakes will work. You may notice you have to push down the brake pedal a little further after the swap. The increased pedal travel is due more to the brake master cylinder and the brake booster than anything else.

Shouldnt loose any travel on the brake peddal if the lines are properly bled. I have never had that problem in the past!! are these Front or rear calipers. If they are rears then after you bleed the lines just top up the resivor. I could see a rear caliper using more fluid than your standard drum brake cylinder. but again just make sure they are bled properly and your fluid is full. I couldnt see you having any issues with this. Anyone else agree??

you don't need to change the master cylinder and booster, i have put the integra brakes in my civic hatch and they are all direct fit

btw changing a larger brake cyl will give a better braking power, the civic comes with a small 13/16 but i have swapped a 1" and it's sooo much better, but so much more expensive
