help, sounds like metal grinding in my front wheel

hey guys im having an annoying problem
every time i make a slow turn or go through a drive through (tim Hortons) it sounds like metal is grinding in my right front wheel. kinda like a loud squeeling sound.
well i changed my brakes to hawk pads and its still making the noise,
its driving me insane
the funny part is when i ask ppl if they heard the sound they said no
any help will be highly appreciated

Did you use shims with the pads? (small metal backing plates that go between the pads and caliper)

Wheel bearings don't usually squeal. They typically make a growling sound.. like driving on gravel.

Also check to make sure the dust shields on the back side of the rotors are not bent in touching or rubbing against the rotor. I've seen that before.

What Mike said. Either brake pads or dust shield. There isnt much else that could cause a metal grinding noise.

Also check your lower control arm ball joint.

Ball joints dont grind. They clunk when you hit some pot holes sometimes, depending on severity.

I had a bad ball joint that would squeak or creek over bumps and when I turned the wheel... but not like a metal on metal scrape sound.

Lower ball joints can make all sorts of deceptive sounds, not just clunking noises, and that I do know.
His interpretation of the sound characteristics could be totally off as well.

OP, which hawk pads are you using?

Im on hawk ceramics, and i get grinding after they heat up, which is "normal".
