Crack rims

so i spun out tonight in my audi a6
cracked both rightside rims:(
and blew out back right tire

how much will this cost to repair for 2 new rims and 1 tire. any ideas?

Depending on where the cracks occurred, they may not be repairable. Ive read that if any of the cracks or damage are around the hub area, it cannot be repaired. Refinishing a curbed, scratched, etc wheel is about $100, so Im guessing repairing a cracked one might be several hundred each.

That looks pretty bad - I would suggest talking to Ric at Precision Rim Repair. Perhaps get them to take a look at your rims.

Ireland460 11-Jan-2009 04:37 PM

i think im just gunna pick up a new set of rims and rubber from focus.

if u hit a curb id get it check out no matter what especialy if the impact was hard enough to crack ur rim like that

About $100 for each rim to be fixed, but that depends on were you go, and a tire it's all with what kind of tire you want to put back on.

Ireland460 12-Jan-2009 02:49 PM

That sucks... That wheel is garbage bro. There are many companies that sell the Audi replica wheels. I worked at Rent N Roll and we sold those as winter sets pretty cheap. Maybe you could order 2 wheels and 2 tires... I estimate $450-500...

Sh!t Happens... Winter Beater FTW.

Ireland460 12-Jan-2009 04:44 PM

yea i found 2 replicas for 550 thanx man:P
