Caliper rebuilding interval

How often should the caliper's be rebuild? I'm refering to the piston seal. I can't find that any where in Helms.

That's because its silly to rebuild a caliper nowadays. Kits can be hard to find.. and for the price of a new or rebuilt caliper, why bother?

There are no set intervals either. Atleast none that i'm aware of

Getting a rebuilt unit does not make sense to me. I've bought few in the past and the bleed screw thread is so used up making the tightness of the system compromized IMHO.
I'm at 100 k with my 2001 TL. Considering the price of the caliper from the dealer, it does make sense to get it done as it sooo easy.

Huh? They re-thread the bleeder threads and add a new bleeder screw, how is it compromised? If the threads were screwed up, causing a leak, trust me.. you'd know. There is ALOT of pressure in those lines.
