so i started my to warm it up so i pulled the hand brake up and wouldnt budge so i pulled it again and all of a sudden i heard something snap. and now my car isnt picking up and whenever im on a uphill my doesnt roll back anymore i think the rear brake is still clamped on still. does anyone know how much for this to get fixed.???

calliper is seized. you could try cleaning it, or get a new one. if you do work yourself and find a used caliper shouldnt be more than 50$

How do you know the car has a rear caliper? What if its a drum rear end? Or maybe its a rusted/seized e-brake cable that snapped while tensioned and seized/got stuck in the cable shielding.

Go under the car and yank on the e-brake cables...which one feels really stiff and tight? Thats the one you gotta really yank on and hope it releases...if not than cut the e-brake cable end off the drum or caliper side.

If you're not mechanically inclined than just bring it to your mechanic. It shouldnt be more than 2 hours labour plus parts.

thanks 3rdgen3 that solve my problem all i had to do is pull the ebrake cables.
