black rota slipstreams or polished sir's on silver ej8?

hi im debateing between some black rota slipstreams or some stock sir rims and polishing them for my 99 civic si im open on suggestions as to witch would look best, also im looking into some lowering springs im torn between h and r sports and tein s tech's the car will be daily drivin year round. thanks

Slipstreams are made tyte jdm, personally i dont like them at all but thats my .2... i have a pair on mint SiRs that i bought for about 400 with tread. took me a bit to find a pair i wanted to buy. lowing it 2" and under will be fine for winter. if you have a lip just take off, or buy a j's lip as a plow.

As far as the rims go, both will look good, so I guess it's really about what you prefer, or can find for cheaper. The springs on the other hand, go with the H&R's the Tien's will sag in the rear after about a year.

thanks guys so just when i thought i had dicided on the sir's I have started to think about rota's spec R rims (dc2 type r replicas) in 16" in 4x100, what offset would i use +40 or +45? and do you guys think they would look good in champ white or gunmetal on my silver coupe? thanks

If it's strictly for looks, I personally think polished SiRs are hard to beat. They look damn nice!
If it's performance, I'd go with a 15x7 slipstream. They look pretty good too.
