Best Tire for 16 inch

I have a Civic 03 with a 1 inch drop.
I got a set of 16x7, offset 40 wheels.

Which tire should I get?
205/55R16 or 205/50R16?

Anyone with those tire size can you post picts also please?

205/50R16 would be closer to the diameter of the stock tire size, which is most important.

i am running 205 45 16 on my mf10's and i'm out by 8-11kmh i used to have 205 40 16 and was bang on! long story short i am looking to trade my yokohama prada spec 2's with one season on them no camber wear for the same or equal tire in a 205 40 16
