best rotor & pads for daily ek

Looking to purchase some brake pads and rotors for my daily ek. Just would like some input on what other people are using.

Ate premium rotors from crapy tire with cheap pads. This combination has given me the best braking performance of any set of brakes I've ever had on the car (in 5 years and 175,000kms of driving), and they have also lasted much longer.

if you're on a budget, just get the economy rotors and cheap pads. will last you a while with daily driving. whole setup should be no more than 80$.

^Partsource just had a sale for the Ate premium rotors, buy 1 rotor get the 2nd for 50% off... Don't know if the sale is still on, but I highly recommend them. For the few extra dollars, they are worth it.

^ they still do. it's on sale for the month of april. napa also has some that try and copy the ate style, but their not made at the same specifications. as for pads, get either cheapest pads or hps for street use only. hp+ for street/track

Fronts : Brembo Blanks ($50 / side) + PBR Axxis Ultimate Ceramic Pads ($47)
Rears: Raybestos Premium Rotors ($25 / side) + Hawk PC Performance Ceramics ($68)

This setup lasted me about a year within 28,000 Km.
Ok performance braking, but hell to clean that damn front wheels! Pads were
too dusty!

Front: Brembo Blanks ($0 same pair) + Hawk HPS ($74)
Rears: Same setup since 10,000 kms ago.

My current setup, I notice it's quieter and dust less. Literally almost like the dust never clings on the rim even when it's wet!
Performance Braking 9/10, very responsive and well worth my every penny.
Saved my life quite a few times!

Notice that the brackets are before the "+" means it's for the item before.
Still confusing? Hence I ever put any " /side " on the pads

For front
Rotors: Pick either ATE Premium One's from Canadian Tire like Mike said, or go with Brembo Blanks (Both around $65 per)

Pads: Hawk HPS or Akebono ACT Ceramics (both around $60 for set)

I didn't like KVR pads. They took forever to get to a temperature where the worked well.

Brembo blanks are good. Mine lasted 3 years of daily driving all year around and a couple of tracking session with aggressive race pads.
