38 ofset on ek

15 x 7 with 38 ofset, will it work on a ek civic?
Car is lowered about 1.5 inch in the rear and about 1 inch in front.
Have civic type R sway bars front and back
Wanted to run 205 50 15 R compound tack tires at the track.
Car does not have much lean with the sway bars plus Integra R springs and shocks.
I know about 42 offset would be better, I think but can get good price on 38 offset

I did role, crush the front inner lip so do have a bit more room.
I thing with 195 it would not be a problem at all but that extra 195 to 205 not sure.
I don`t have adjustable camber, thats the biggest problem. They want to much money for those upper control arms. Have a little - camber for lowering, but not enough for the track.

38 offset is fine.

Remember that when the suspension compresses, you gain more negative camber...so just corner harder lol.

Yeah, cornering harder is always good.
I have been running 14 inch crappie rims steallies with Atenza rt-615`s
and aluminium 14inch with 205 R compounds.
Have to get some better rims in 15 inch, there is a lot more tire options out there.
Was just trying to find the best offset cause I would really rather run 215 wide tires.
I actually have 2 15inch by 7 with ET37 that I have 225/50/15 RA1`s on. they stick out and did rub on cornering untill I added the front Civic Type R sway bar.
I rather run a smaller front sway bar through for better turn in .

+40 offset is ideal with a 205 series tire.

I have 15x7 +35 and no issues either. 430lb F and 380lb R. No sway bars. Had to slightly roll my rear quarters though because my trailing arm bushings were loosy goosy and causing the tie to slightly touch.
