2000 civic sir owners!

Hello,

I'm looking to source out a picture of your prop valve (abs) which has 4 fittings to compare with the one i have bought from a swap. Also I came across to my mc as a"15/16" . when I bought my rear disk swap it included the mc and prop .

I'm just confused about my mc because my friend has the same year civic si with rear drums that had "7/8" mc. Non abs.

My car :
1999 civic si ( rear drums ) ( 10 .25 " front rotors
can anyone have an explanation * cough MPR * =p

The prop valve I got from the swap ( which came off an sir ) with abs. Will bolt up to my fat *** prop valve installed on my civic si ATM.

I could only find pictures of 40/40 valve that obviously I couldn't compare ?
Info on your sir prop valve will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

tr1p

Lol....my 00 SiR originally was sold in florida as a US Si model (same as canadian SiR model) when it started it's life. It doesn't have abs (I hate abs, so it's perfect! lol).

I'll go look at my car durning lunch break...I'm not sure it even has a proportioning valve...have to get back to you on that.

Part Detail

#4 is the proportioning valve for the non-abs US Si (canadian SiR). Hopefully that helps you out...

Abs is giving me a head ache.
As far as i know the abs prop have has 4 fittings. So the front brakes feed up directly from the abs pump, now the rears just go straight from the mc?

Can anyone back me up ,

Also the "" stock civic ex " ( Canadian si ) with abs, do they have the 30/40 stock prop valves?

According to that, all 96-00 civics have the same prop valve.
