the link you posted does include balljoints both upper and lower, but then you'll have the issue of having a tiny master cyl driving big calipers (read: excessive pedal travel). also, there is no guarantee that the ball joints in the used parts are any good, often the boots get torn in transport or whatever. btw, what car is this for?
but considering you're looking at $400 plus install for the gsr brake conversion, you'd be better off doing NAPA or Canadian Tire or whatever for the upper control arms, and going OEM for the lower ball joint (or Moog aftermarket). Actually now that I think of it, upper control arms cost me $110 each, and LBJ goes for roughly $60-80... so it'll be pretty close in price either way. your call i guess...

new or used?
it is mostly up to you... if you want to take the chance of used ball joints and upper control arms.. then do it,,
personally i would just go to canadian tire or napa and order new ones
the boots are easily torn and easly break,..
just my .02 cents...

Any used part is a hard call. Depends on how the person drove the car, what terain it was commonly exposed to etc. Just get new 1st like ball joints from Moog like bbarbulo said or a japanese company called 555. I've had my 555's in for about 2.5 years and still going strong and my car is lowered with tougher suspension which would normally cause more wear and tear on em.
