both cars are very good buys but i hope you know you are comparing a new 08 model to an older car so there can be considerable price difference. i drive an 08 si 4dr so my opinion would be obviously biased towards it but nonetheless...the RSX-S is still a very good car and have tons of potential if you are into modification.

the insurance can be different b/w the two plus the diff. in your payment towards the car. it would be helpful if you can throw some numbers.

I say the SI all the way....I didn't even question it when I was looking for a new car. I have had 96 CX hatch, 98 SI coupe & a 99 Integra GS and when I was thinking about new cars I wanted to go with the 08 SI....I love it! I thought about getting it in the Taffeta White but ended up with the Nighthawk Black Pearl....I say go with whatever your gut tells you....ultimately you have to love the car your driving

"They" say the RSX might be a slightly faster car because of the slight difference in HP and ratings from the different year's and an RSX might be a few lbs lighter, but it might be more of a driver's race.

An Si will out handle an RSX because of the LSD and the redesigned suspension.

Looks is personal opinion.

The interior of an RSX might be more traditional then an SI and comes with leather interior, but I prefer the more futuristic interior of the Si. The options are basically the same (ABS, power roof, windows, locks, etc) but the Si has a better OEM stereo.

RSX is a hatch while the Si has a trunk.

Reliability, resale, insurance will be similar.

For now... An RSX will have more aftermarket parts available for modding.

New car vs used car?

Im looking to get out of my lease, Its a silver 08 SI coupe with 9xxx km on it, only 5 months old, I will pay the lease transfer fee and 1 months payment for you. The car is like new and my interest rate is only 1.5%, pm me if your interested. The lease and finance rates have risen since the purchase, so you save some money in the longrun

This one is kind of a hard choice. I love both cars, and they would be very fun to drive. I've driven the RSX and it's a blast, I can oly imagine the SI being just as good. Might just come down to personal preference on apprearance, or wether you want a brand new car or a slightly used one. And BTW good choice for the colour options. The RSX also looks good in the blue.

yes, the Fiji Blue is being discontinued. its not a sales trick.

the chassis is unibody as well. something a RSX and older Hondas are not.
