if i convert from obd2 to obd1 do i still need the noc senser any help would be appreciated thx

it depends on which ECU you use. If you're using a stock obd1 p30 or p72 then yes, b/c they look for the knock sensor. If you're using any other obd1 ecu then no. If you're using a chipped obd1 ecu you can disable the knock sensor in the program used to make the chip
