Power Door Lock/Unlock issue.

Power Door Lock/Unlock issue.
Hey guys,
I got a 2000 Honda Civic 4DR with power locks and a remote keyless entry. Latey I've been finding that when I unlock the door with the keyless remote, on the first press the drivers side doesn't unlock (it's supposed to), however hitting it again unlocks all the others doors (which is normal) - the drivers side however remains locked.
I then manually use the key to open the door and it unlocks no problem, when I get inside and close the door, I'm able to push down on my drivers side **** (not the switch) and all the other doors lock.
the Switch on the drivers door is the same thing, when I flip up the switch, all the doors unlock, but not the drivers door, but when i flip it to lock, nothing happens.
When I leave the car to lock it, I press on the remote and all the passenger doors lock but not the drivers side. However when i use the key manually to lock the drivers side door, all the doors lock.
I had a mind that it was the actuator from the drivers door, but seeing the price they are to replace, I wanted to pass this around to get any ideas on other things it could be. I checked the fuse under the hood for the power locks and everything seems in place.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I had to get my door lock actuators replaced on my previous car.
I went to see Jeff @ AudioHeaven, he charges about $45 per actuator (including labour). That was about 4 years ago.
I recommend that you give him a call.

Issue fixed.
Well, it's been awhile, everything is fixed now, and working prefectly.
End Result: I had to replace the actuator, but that wasn't explaining why the door switch wasn't working. I needed to fix a couple of wires that were pulled out from between the door and the body of the car, once all that was in good order, along with the brand new actuator, problems solved.
Later.

You can buy these motors from Active surplus in downtown Toronto on Queen street. I just replaced both motors and problem fixed. The small coupling must be removed from the end of the motor and placed on to the shaft of the new motor, thats if you can get it out. lol That was a bitch to take out for me, i was ready to give up almost.
Nsxvtec, how did you get that coupling out cause i sorta damaged mine but it still works. Thanks for the tip on this tho.

yeah I went over there and picked up a couple of motors, dirt cheap, but that couple was a B**** to take off. i ended up splitting mine. plus the little switch inside the actuator was damaged, there was no hope for it.

C-clamp , vice with a bit of rigging etc. can and will take care of the coupling if you are only doing one or 2 DLA's.
