OIl pressure Gauge

Hey guys, I want to put an auto meter oil pressure gauge on my car and have a question about it. Because the sending unit won't fit because of the oil filter, do you guys mount in using some 90 degree fittings to move it away from the filter, or is there another way. Thanx for your help.
