Input shaft bearing covered under warranty?

My 04 dx coupe is showing the classic worn isb symptoms.. my car has honda plus to 160k (and I'm only at 65), would this qualify as wear/tear or will it be covered? It isn't too loud, but it bothers me when the windows are up and the radio off.

I'd be all for pulling a DIY if it wasn't such a PITA

Well.. if you have 160k powertrain then it SHOULD be covered.. but unfortunately warranties are a very tricky thing to get, especially if its hardly noticeable like you say. The dealer might give you a hard time and jerk you around and say "how about you pay for a transmission service to see if the noise goes away".

I guess what I'm trying to say is it's hard to give you a straight answer without hearing the noise and knowing the history of the vehicle and warranty information.

did you do a fluid flush at honda yet?

if not do that first (at Honda) than go back to tell them!

you need to go to the dealer for service so they see that you spend money
if you just come in for the free things they sometimes dont give a **** about helping
you out.

if they don't help you call Honda canada
tell them that you will never buy a honda and this will be the first and last honda you will every have!
just B!tch at them in a nice way
the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
