there is NO screw on the IACV to adjust the idle, the idle screw is on the top of the throttle body.

I'd take the IACV completely off the back of the intake manifold and spray some brake cleaner inside of it, let it sit for a bit, then blow compressed air through it to make sure its dry.
Also, check the little rubber seal on the IACV that seals it to the manifold, for any tears/breaks in it, b/c that could be letting air past it causing your jumpy idle.
Personally, i've had very little luck cleaning IACVs, they usually require replacement, in which case, i'll just go find another used one, b/c they're like $350 from honda for a new one.

i took it off and cleaned it out with wd-40, i put it back on and still no luck, i might just go to a junk yard and find one and replace it and see if it works

i'm having the same problem with my 92 prelude SR. when the car gets to a good temp, the jumping idle does not happen as much, sometime it eves stops. I'm going to take it off and clean it but i wanted to know if there is a gasket i need to replace after i take it off?

There is a gasket, but you dont need to replace it.

First determine if its your FITV or IACV by checking the ports b4 the throttle plate.

Might as well bleed your coolant as well.
