I have a Civic SE but...

Okay, so im looking into some performance stuff like CAI, headers, catback and exhaust, I have a 2000 Civic SE but ANYWHERE I look all the sites say for a Civic EX, Si, etc... what would my car be classified as.... I know its not an Si lol.

They will all fit... your engine... if its stock is a d series. most of the bolts ons fit as long as they are for the same engine. Exhaust you need to get a coupe one for a coupe etc so no hatch or 4 door exhaust unless you want to get it modified to fit your vehicle.

your SE has the D16Y7 low output motor which is not designed to go fast. its designed for maximum fuel efficiency and more reliability than speed. in terms of models:

US SI - Cdn SIR
US EX - Cdn SI
US LX/DX - Cdn EX/SE/DX and whatever else

The SE is basically a DX, CX, LX in terms of the engine.

Does this mean I should not use any modifications at all?? will this do any damage to my engine??

no it wont damage it, but it wont make it any faster...... what you can do, is do a mini-me swap... d16y8 head, intake manifold, and ecu. thats the cheapest thing you can do. other than that, if you just wanna go a little bit faster and still have some good gas milage, is get a obd1 d15b, y8 intake manifold, and get a obd2b-obd1 jumper harness.
