honda brother needs help
ok my first journey into the land of honda and v tec is not going very good.
So any assistance would be awesome,I have a 1990 civic dx with a 1.5 d15b (fresh rebuild) I did the dpfi to mdfi swap and its fine.I am using a 91 si dizzy.I did have a si head on it with a 1.5 belt. I am using a p28 ecu and I just found out my head is cracked after I sent the block in because of a bad ring :shooter: so now I picked up a p08 vtec e head ill post the number later I could be wrong.so now I am wondering what I need to do. in order to wire the vtec I will have to do a obdo to obd1 conversion correct? and I will also have to change the injectors? and get rid of that resistor box? I know about removing the oil jet control.Just want to know if I have all the info to do as this is my daily driver and I am in a real bind with cash also.Just lost my job and need a car to get new one.does any one have a accurate desciption on how to do the conversion.I have mitchell on demand and I am inclined. |
come on

Why would you need to change the injectors, etc? You already did the mpfi swap.

is the mdfi swap a obd1 conversion? sorry new to honda

I read online i would have to change injectors and get rid of the injector box.
the belt is to big so I am thinking I have to use the vx water pump and timing belt and tensioner? someone told me that but not sure if they are right? just confused about the obd1 swap stuff.I know I have to either mod my si dizzy to fit the p07 vtec e head or get another one.but I am wondering the easiest route for the wiring |
