Is this a good buy?
93 Honda Civic, Red, 2 Door, usual rust spots (2 rust spots), stock engine isn't working at the moment. The guy that offered the car said he will put a new engine but not the stock one and was told it was an engine from an earlier year civic.
Basically wondering if its an okay deal for $1,500 for a 93 Civic with a new engine installed, but he wont work on the rust spots. I know the seller and just wondering if its a good buy.
Update* Sorry, about the new engine. It is going to be an engine from a civic thats 93 and up so 95 or whatever it is. Gonna be above the year 93.

first off its 1,500. thats a fair price for a 93 civic
second off
if your going for speed.. even if u dont want it now.. and u are going for it later on.. you are better off asking him how much he is paying for the motor(what type of motor).. if the motor is ****ty then get that money from him and invest in a nice b series motor and do a swap in it.. a nice sleeper hahah.. you might as well since u need a new one
