1.7EL brakes question

hey guys, i am trying to order a set of brake pads for my 1.7el 2001MY, but am ordering it from the states as my cousin is coming to visit and can bring it over....

the el wasnt sold in the states, so just wondering if front beake pads from a 2001 civic sedan and/or coupe would work...not sure if they share the same brake system up front...or would i order it for the civic ex coupe(si in canada, same engine as the EL)...

thanks guys

ummm, that brake setup is 20 years old.

Lets see what is the same pad
94-01 integra's
92-05 civic's with a 10.4" front rotor. (which is a lot)
94-97 del sol vtec
1st gen honda fit

I would upgrade to prelude rotors and type-r calipers. Contact Aaron Weir in burlington at Weir technologies. The whole setup will cost less than 500 bucks for rotors, calipers, pads and machining. You'll be thanking me in the long run. Good brakes is worth soooooooo much. I've run many pad and rotor combo's on the 10.4" setup. They still cannot compare to bigger better brakes. I have them on my 05 EL. Plus your stock wheels still fit overtop, they are just full now.
