Hi,

I just bought a Honda Civic DX 2006 last week and yesterday I saw the engine light came up, I took the car to Canadian tire and they did the diagnosis on it and the Error code: 2183 came up which I was told is for coolant temp problem. I didn't see any water temp to go up or down at all so I thought I could be just the sensor need to be replaced. My question is any body knows a good mechanic with decent price and also anybody knows how much would cost me change either the sensor?

It's an 06' is there not some kinda warranty still in place?

If I had a car that new I would just take it to Honda, cause if I can afford a newer Honda I can at very least afford to get it maintained at the dealership.

I had a very bad experince with dealers before..... I used to have MB convertible and anytime I went to dealer they charged me so much, I start taking the car to somewhere elles. I never been to Honda dealer and not sure if they are the same or better.
